Teams from Orange County High School and Locust Grove Middle School competed in this contest, and Orange County High School will have to opportunity to compete at the state competition for hosting the tournament.

On November 18, the robotics team from Lightfoot Elementary School competed in a FIRST Lego League competition in Stafford, Virginia and was awarded a Core Values Award.
