An important part of agriculture is becoming a good steward of not only the land, but our environment as well. FFA members in their agriculture classes are constantly looking for ways to be more ecological in their daily lives. For more than a decade, members of the Orange County FFA have recycled at least a thousand pounds of newspapers each year by repurposing newspaper as animal tray liners at the Orange County Animal shelter. Pictured left to right, Raymond Pierce, Dylan Hale, Gabe Ryan, and Cole Ryder deliver one of many loads of newspaper to the shelter.
