Through concern, kindness, and understanding, our OCPS teachers and leadership continue to reflect upon how to assist those courageous people who care for others. Repetitively hearing of stories where those on the front line regularly risk being exposed to COVID-19 due to lack of personal protective equipment (PPE), staff has gathered personal protective equipment from our nursing program, science programs, and school nurse offices. Assistant Superintendent Berry reported that he will be distributing 250 masks and 109 boxes of gloves [each box containing 100 nitrile examination gloves] to health care agencies in need.
