Mrs. Howie’s Art students have not let the quarantine stop them from finding inspiration to make beautiful artwork! Challenged to be creative and use household items, students have created a variety of at-home art projects. Some of these assignments include paintings with coffee and tea, homemade salt dough sculptures, make-your-own watercolor paint, and land-art sculptures inspired by British artist Andy Goldsworthy’s environmental arrangements. During these times, more than ever, art can be a healthy outlet for self-expression and a productive way to channel our personal emotions.
