Hour of Code – Lightfoot Elementary School

Students code with Ozobots by drawing lines on paper with colored markers.  These lines act as commands for the Ozobot, indicating which direction to take, what speed to go, and what movements to make along the way, such as spinning like a tornado.

The Ozobot app is used on the iPads to create digital lines similar to those drawn on paper. These lines act as commands for the Ozobot, indicating which direction to take, what speed to go, and what movements to make along the way, such as spinning like a tornado. The Ozobots actually navigate across the iPad screen.

Students acted as DJs during the Hour of Code event by using Scratch to code music for the group to enjoy.

Students pick from a variety of engaging and interactive activities from Code.org and Santatracker.google.com .
