The Teacher Advisory Council is comprised of a representative from each school and Head Start. Their function is to address building level concerns with the superintendent and to serve as a liaison in disseminating information and policy back to the schools.

Guidelines for presenting items are as follows:

• Items must be presented at the school level twice (either through the principal or school advisory team) before being addressed at the TAC meeting.
• Personal items will not be addressed.
• Items may be presented in writing or orally.
• Items presented in the meeting should be system-level concerns.
