Seventh grade math students at PHMS celebrated Pi Day on 3/14. Students were engaged in activities related to the history and concept of п. Some of the activities included an investigation of the value of by approximating the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle, an internet Scavenger Hunt, pin the radius on the circle, and creating a chain link of pi, each link representing a digit in pi.
