Changes in school schedules due to inclement weather are posted on the Internet, on local television stations, and on numerous radio stations.

On the Internet

The Homepage of the Orange County Schools web site will post all schedule changes due to weather or other emergencies. The Channel 29 web site (WVIR) out of Charlottesville will also have information relating to weather emergencies.

Television and Radio

School closing and delayed openings due to inclement weather will be announced on the radio and T.V. stations listed below. Each school and department will also implement a phone chain to inform all staff members of the decision.
