AGENDAS AND TIME USAGE/EXPECTATIONS
IN THE LMC (
The LMC is a great place for students
to have fun and learn. In addition to checking in and out books and research,
students may enjoy coming to the LMC for a reward, to read, play checkers, or Macula. Teachers, please send no more than 3 students
at one time unless prior arrangements have been made.
Please note in student’s agenda the following information:
Why is the student coming to the LMC?
(free-time, check out, research)
Are there any special needs the
particular student might need?
If students need more than 15 minutes
for checking in or out a book please note the time in their agenda?
We love to have students visit the LMC. Students
should be able to answer the following questions (listed below) when visiting
the LMC:
Do I have a goal for my time in the Library? If so,
what is my goal?
What is my current lexile level?
How can I best achieve my goal within 15 minutes in
the
What is my strategy for my time in the LMC in relation
to the goal I have set for my time in the LMC?
