Students at Prospect Heights Middle School and Locust Grove Middle School voted on their favorite 2018-2019 Virginia Readers Choice books. All ten books were very interesting but the students voted for the following:

- Second Place: Scar Island
Prospect Heights Middle School
- First Place: When Friendship Followed Me Home
- Second Place: Ghost
