The Facilities and Maintenance Department is dedicated to providing a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for our students, faculty, and staff. We work diligently to ensure that our school buildings and grounds are well-maintained and equipped to support the educational mission of our district.

Our team of skilled professionals is committed to providing excellent service to our school community. We work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that our facilities meet the needs of our students and staff.

Our department is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Preventive Maintenance: Implementing regular maintenance schedules to keep our facilities in optimal condition.
     
  • Reactive Maintenance: Responding promptly to repair requests and addressing any issues that arise.
     
  • Facility Improvements: Planning and executing facility upgrades and renovations to enhance the learning environment
  • Energy Conservation: Implementing energy-efficient practices to reduce costs and minimize our environmental impact.
     
  • Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of our facilities through regular inspections and maintenance.
     
  • Groundskeeping: Maintaining our outdoor spaces, including landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.

Community Use of School Facilities

The School Board may permit use of school property by members of the community when such use will not impair the efficiency of the school.
  • Requests for the use of any school facilities should be submitted to the building Principal or the Principal's designee at least two weeks in advance of the intended event.
     
  • Requests for facility use after school hours by faith-based and non-faith based youth-serving organizations shall be treated equally.
  • If the School Board permits the use of its facilities by members of the community or the distribution of literature on school property or at school functions, it will permit such use or such distribution by the Boy Scouts of America, the Girl Scouts of the United States of America, and other youth groups designated as patriotic societies by federal law, to the same extent and in the same manner as all other persons or groups.
