School meal applications are no longer available. All students in all OCPS schools are eligible for Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). All students are offered a free breakfast and free lunch on school instructional days.

A la carte purchases will be available in addition to the provided meal selections. Cafeteria staff will utilize electronic meal accounts for sales of a la carte purchases.

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)

The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) is a powerful federal option that enables high-needs schools to offer breakfast and lunch to students at no charge.

The school nutrition program is primarily funded by federal reimbursement for each meal served to students.

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to let you know that all schools in Orange County Public Schools will be implementing the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for school year 2023-2024. CEP allows eligible schools participating in the USDA National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program to provide meals at no cost to all students without meal applications.

What does this mean for you and your student(s) attending Orange county Public Schools?

Great news! All students attending any school in Orange County Public Schools are eligible to receive a nutritious breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each school day. You do not have to take any action. The student(s) in your household who attend a participating CEP school will receive a complete breakfast and lunch meal at no cost without you paying a fee or submitting a meal application.
