While the School Board wants to hear the concerns of its citizenry, the Chair may exercise discretion to limit public comment to three (3) hours, on a first signed up, first speak basis. In the event that the public comment time is to be limited, it will be announced at the beginning of the meeting. The Chair is also authorized to prohibit comments that violate the privacy rights of students and employees, and to prohibit comment that the Chair deems to be offensive, or which interrupts or disturbs the reasonable conduct of the meeting.
The School Board cannot respond to your concerns during the meeting or a public hearing; however, if you submit your concern or question in writing, a response will be provided.
