Head Start and Early Head Start

Orange County Head Start & Pre-K Programs are designed to provide preschool experiences for children, including children with special needs. The program is available for children birth to five years of age, includes support services for families. Limited transportation may be available. There is no cost to families for participation. If you wish to have your child considered for our program, please complete the confidential application. Classes run Monday through Friday and hours vary from 8:00 am - 2:30 pm or 8:00 am-1:00 pm.

NOTE: Proof of household income (examples: income tax return, W-2, paycheck stub, financial assistance, child support, etc.) is required to be considered for the program. We use the Federal Income Poverty Guidelines to determine eligibility for most Head Start families; however, there are limited enrollment opportunities for special circumstances that are not based on income.
